Position: Cloud Application Integration Specialist
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: €80,000 – €110,000
Location(s): Essen, Hannover, München, Würzburg, Berlin, Frankfurt am Main

Join a dynamic team as a Cloud Application Integration Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in a highly skilled group of Application Integration experts. Your contributions will be instrumental in leading, shaping, and digitizing business operations across Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and design integration scenarios for diverse use cases, utilizing cloud or on-premises solutions independent of the integration platform in use.
  • Develop complex integration scenarios, integrating systems and services through our diverse portfolio of integration solutions.
  • Employ the most suitable integration platform for different business needs, such as MS Azure Integration Services, AWS, or MuleSoft.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the development process.
  • Review and analyse solution designs to ensure compliance with group standards and alignment with the overall integration architecture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within and outside feature teams and projects to build cutting-edge integration scenarios.
  • Utilize your experience and knowledge throughout the entire lifecycle, providing training to teams and sharing knowledge for collaborative improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in enterprise application integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies, including cloud services, microservices, JSON, XML, REST/SOAP, Java, Python, and containerized apps, as well as integration solutions such as API, ETL, ESB, and Event hub.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in MS Azure Integration Services, AWS integration services, or equivalent platforms.
  • Familiarity with agile methodology and design thinking, with the ability to gather and translate end-user requirements into effective designs and code.
  • A team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and spoken); additional proficiency in EU languages is a plus.
  • Open to travel (10-25%).
